The topic of today's posting is Irony...
In a speech today, Dick (and I believe he is) Cheney said the following about President Obama's plan to close Guantanamo Bay had been made with
"little deliberation and no plan."
Say Dick, how did things go with your decision to invade Iraq?
little deliberation and no plan, perhaps?
Dick orchestrated somewhat of a dick move with his speech too, scheduling it at the same time as a speech which the President was planning to give on his reasoning behind wanting to shut GitMo down. This after the dicks in Congress voted to withhold funding.
I think the President summed it up well when he said,
"Our government made decisions based upon fear rather than foresight and all too often trimmed facts and evidence to fit ideological predispositions,"
