It's all going to hell...

I had a pretty busy weekend, both with my second job and also with competing in my first Olympic distance triathlon. Under such circumstances, I haven't being paying attention to much, so it was with a little surprise that I read this blog entry by Obi Wan Kolobi - Why the gloves have to come off

I must admit I was mystified at first, but it turns out that the government has passed a law to legalize something they have been doing which was previously illegal. I believe it has to do with their interactions with telecommunications companies following 9-11, but I need to do more research.

I'm a little surprised that more was not made of this, but then again, it's not like I have a lot of respect for the media in this country anyway, but this just adds to my distrust and distaste for them... I'll share more once I find out more, but I would recommend Obi's comments to all who might read this.
