I really liked John Dehlin's comments in the article, particularly his point about the disconnect about what the Church actually teaches and what the members are living. More and more members are joining the 21st century, whereas the church is still teaching social values from a hundred or more years ago.
The whole ad campaign seems a little weird. The first one I saw was the one with the Lesbian and the Alcoholic...
I thought I should do an Ex-Mormon one as well, except I'm still technically a member... So until I get to a point where I can get that technicality taken care of, perhaps I need to look at other things.
Another blogger - UU Mormon - has posted a profile on Mormon.org. Apparently they have a new social media type thing where you can meet a Mormon neighbor. Her profile is still pending approval, but I thought it might be fun to post my own...

Something tells me it wouldn't make it past the review phase, and I'm sure my bishop would get a little heads up on my status as well.
