Celtic Rock Fans Only!

OK folks, this is an appeal to those who like rock of the Celtic persuasion.

The Young Dubliners (see below) have a concert scheduled for March 12th, 2011 at the The Depot in Salt Lake City. I don't know how keen Mrs Koda will be to see them, but since they're playing at The Depot, I don't think it'll take much to convince her that we should go.

It would be fun to meet friends of the blog and hang out a little together as well. At the least it would be for the concert, but perhaps we could meet for dinner before hand or something.

Anyway, so... March 12th - It's a Saturday - at The Depot, which is a club located in The Gateway complex in Salt Lake City.

Let me know if you want to meet up to enjoy it together.

    It being so close to St. Patrick's Day, we could enjoy green beer with corned beef and cabbage beforehand, but I really hate it. A green vodka would be nice though. I hope my metal bustier is delivered by then.

    HEY!!! Celtic Rock Fan here!!! Smoking Joe and I are HUGE Young Dubs fans and are going to their concert in Park City at Harry O's on December 29th. And of course, we'll more likely go to the one at the Depot in March. This one in Park City will be our fourth Dubs concert and we've yet to be disappointed. So grab your kilt and come join us in Park City for a wee bit o' fun!

    We saw them last March at the Depot. I'm in. These guys know how to put on a live act.

    Sweet!!! Mrs Koda is in for the March concert as well, so that is at least 5 or 6 of us. I'm liking the idea of some Irish fare prior to the show as well, but I guess we can figure that out closer to the time.

    I'll see if I can make the December concert up in Park City, but that one is going to be pretty iffy.

    Well Carla... If you ever find yourself out west, you've got a place to stay.

    I actually have a brother out in WI, but he's the opposite end of the Mormon spectrum from me!
