One of my co-workers asked me a question the other day. She'd heard a rumor that I was a bit of a gamer, and couldn't quite reconcile that fact with who she thought I was. Apparently triathlete and gamer didn't quite mix in her mind.
I'll admit I haven't more that perhaps a couple of hours of games in the last year, but there was a time, when my spartan warrior was pretty lethal on the Halo battlefield.
I usually went with the handle of "Phoenix"
I just liked the name, but someone made a comment once about it being a fitting name for a spartan warrior.
I think I need to research the history of the Phoenix some more, but...
In the mean time, I felt it was time for a change to my online icon.
The V used to fit in with my political opinions pretty well, and while it still does to some extent, I think perhaps the Phoenix may be more fitting - and then again, maybe it isn't - Like I said, some research is necessary.
Right now, it's just a cool icon!
If she's single and looking for a gamer, send her my direction, please.
ReplyDeleteSorry Mate! While I suspect she may be into the gamer type of guy, that is only due to the fact that she's been happily married to such a fellow for a number of years now.
