One of the best feelings in the world - well kind of... There's sex and love and all that stuff, but in the blogging world...
Nothing beats surfing the web and finding a link to your blog on a blog you didn't know about before. I see it as a huge compliment. Not only do you discover that someone has been reading and liking your blog, but they found you first... And they though you good enough to link to.
I realize that many of my readers already do this, so to you who do, I say...

To Marianne at Cookies 4 Breakfast... THANK YOU AS WELL!! It was a nice surprise yesterday afternoon. And if you aren't aware of Marianne's blog, I about laughed myself silly at her latest post. I read it while I was in the car at Walmart, waiting for Mrs Koda to finish up the Christmas shopping. Are you finished Christmas shopping?
Anyway, I have to wonder if there are other stealth blog out there, belonging to readers of mine, who I have yet to discover. You don't have to agree with me politically, religiously or anything like that, I just like knowing more about you. I read your blog (found you through Marianne, actually), however I don't have you linked on my blog (yet). I'm in a situation where I no longer believe in the church, but am still active and my non-faithful status is not widely known. Long story...

ReplyDeleteAnd don't worry about linking to me. The last thing I would want is for someone to get outed because of me. The blog was actually responsible for outing me to my parents a couple of years back. Aside from the fact that they no longer speak to me, it's actually kind of a funny story. I'll have to share it sometime.
Koda, I feel very honored when you comment on my blog! I created a new identity just for my blog because I'm not ready to be outed just yet. I'm hoping to sloooowly get people used to the idea of my being Evil and a Heathen. BTW, that's a great song by Franz Ferdinand.

I liked too that the first song that linked to it on YouTube was Franz Ferdinand - You're the reason I'm leaving!!! I've got a few people I could share that with - purely to return a little guilt.
